Connect Faire

Link a client's Faire brand to aOS so demand planning works from live wholesale data.

Connecting Faire brings a brand's products, orders, and inventory into aOS, so demand planning for that client works from live wholesale data.

aOS reads that data to build recommendations. Your Faire account stays as it is.

One connection per client

Faire connects per client rather than per account. Each connection links one Faire brand to one client in aOS, so if you manage several brands you'll connect each one to the client it belongs to.

That's why the Faire row asks you to choose a client before it will let you connect.

Who can connect it

Owners, admins, and anyone with the Manage integrations permission can connect a brand for any client.

You'll sign in to Faire as part of the flow, using a login that reaches the brand you're connecting.

Connect it

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and find Faire.

  2. Choose the client this brand belongs to from the dropdown. The Connect button stays greyed out until you do.

  3. Click Connect Faire. You'll be taken to Faire to sign in and approve access.

  4. Approve the request. You'll come back to aOS and the first data pull starts for that client automatically.

Finish in the browser you started in, within about ten minutes. The connection is tied to the window that began it, so starting on a laptop and finishing on a phone won't complete.

When your data appears

The first pull starts as soon as you're returned to aOS, with nothing to trigger manually.

Faire access stays valid indefinitely, so once a brand is connected it keeps working until someone disconnects it or the access is changed inside Faire.

Connecting more than one brand

Once you have one brand connected, the button becomes Connect another. Choose a different client from the dropdown and run through it again. Every brand gets its own connection, tied to its own client, with its own data.

The Faire row shows how many brands are connected, and lists them underneath.

Connecting a brand to a client that already has one replaces that client's existing connection.

Troubleshooting

The Connect button is greyed out
Choose a client from the dropdown first. Faire connections belong to a specific client, so aOS needs to know which one before it can start.

"Authorization was declined — try again"
Start again from Settings → Integrations and approve the access request. This appears when the Faire screen was declined or closed before finishing.

The connection came back with a security or session error
Start again and complete it in one go, in one browser. This appears when the round trip was broken partway: a different device finished it, cookies were cleared, or more than ten minutes passed.

"Faire isn't configured"
Faire isn't set up on this aOS environment yet. Contact support.

I connected it to the wrong client
Disconnect that brand in Settings → Integrations, then connect again with the right client chosen in the dropdown.

The brand name looks wrong or is missing
The connection is fine and your data is flowing; only the label is affected. aOS reads the display name from Faire at the moment you connect, and occasionally that read doesn't land. Contact support to have it corrected.

Data has stopped updating
Check that Settings → Integrations still lists the brand. If access was changed inside Faire, connecting again will pick it back up.

Disconnecting

Find the brand in the Faire row in Settings → Integrations and disconnect it there.

This affects that client only. Your other clients' Faire brands keep running.
