Connecting Google brings your clients' GA4 traffic and Google Ads performance into aOS.
The access requested is read-only reporting. aOS reads your properties and accounts; it doesn't change campaigns, budgets, or settings.
How this one is structured
Google works differently from the per-client connectors, and it's worth understanding before you start.
You connect once, with the Google login that manages your clients' properties and accounts — usually your agency's own. That single connection covers everything that login can reach.
Then you map accounts to clients. aOS finds the GA4 properties and Google Ads accounts available to you, and you assign each one to the client it belongs to. That mapping is what makes a client's dashboard show their data and nobody else's.
Meta works the same way. The per-client connectors like Faire and Klaviyo don't — those you connect once per client.
Who can connect it
Owners, admins, and anyone with the Manage integrations permission.
Connect it
Go to Settings → Integrations and find Google.
Click to connect. You'll be taken to Google to sign in and approve access.
Approve the request. You'll come back to aOS with the connection made.
aOS then lists the GA4 properties and Google Ads accounts your login can reach.
Assign each one to a client, and switch on the ones you want aOS to pull.
Anything left unassigned or switched off is simply not pulled. That's useful when your Google login reaches accounts that aren't yours to report on.
When your data appears
Once an account is assigned to a client and enabled, aOS starts pulling it. Data appears against that client rather than at agency level.
Adding accounts later
When you take on a new client, come back to Settings → Integrations and assign their property or account. You don't need to reconnect Google itself — the existing connection already covers anything your login can reach.
If a newly added account doesn't appear in the list, it's usually because access hasn't been granted to your Google login yet. That's granted on Google's side, in the client's Analytics or Ads account, not in aOS.
Troubleshooting
"No permission to connect integrations"
Ask your account owner to connect Google for you, or to enable the Manage integrations permission on your user in Settings.
A client's dashboard has no Google data
Check that their property or account is both assigned to that client and switched on. Assigned but disabled is the most common cause.
An account I expect isn't in the list
Your Google login needs access to it first. Have it shared with your login in Google Analytics or Google Ads, then check again in aOS.
Data has stopped updating
Check Settings → Integrations still shows Google as connected. If the Google login's password changed or its access was revoked, connecting again will pick it back up.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Integrations → Google → Disconnect.
This removes the connection and stops all Google syncing, across every client mapped to it. Since one connection serves all your clients, disconnecting affects all of them rather than just one.
