Connecting Stripe brings your own agency's revenue into Agency Analytics. If you bill clients through Stripe, this is how those payments show up in your reporting.
This is your Stripe account, not a client's — the same as Xero and QuickBooks. One Stripe account connects per aOS account.
Stripe only offers full read-and-write access to apps unless they've been through a separate approval, so the connect screen will ask for more than aOS uses. aOS reads your balance transactions and aggregates them into monthly revenue. It doesn't create charges, issue refunds, or change anything in your Stripe account.
Who can connect it
Owners and admins, along with anyone who has the Manage integrations permission.
You'll sign in to Stripe as part of the flow, using a login that can authorize apps for the account you're connecting.
Connect it
Go to Settings → Integrations and find Stripe.
Click to connect. You'll be taken to Stripe to sign in and approve access.
Approve the request. You'll come back to aOS with the account connected.
Finish in the browser you started in. The connection is tied to the window that began it, so completing it on a different device won't work.
When your revenue appears
aOS pulls your balance transactions and turns them into one revenue figure per month, which then feeds Agency Analytics alongside whatever your accounting connection provides.
Stripe and your accounting connection together
Stripe revenue and Xero or QuickBooks figures both feed Agency Analytics, and they answer different questions: Stripe is what you actually collected, accounting is your full picture including invoices raised but not yet paid.
Having both is normal. If the numbers differ, that difference is usually real rather than a sync problem.
Troubleshooting
"No permission to connect integrations"
Ask your account owner to connect Stripe for you, or to enable the Manage integrations permission on your user in Settings.
The connection came back with a security or session error
Start again from Settings → Integrations and complete it in one browser, in one go.
Revenue looks lower than expected
aOS reads balance transactions, which is money that actually landed. Pending payouts and unpaid invoices won't be in there. Your accounting connection is the better source for the fuller picture.
Figures have stopped updating
Check Settings → Integrations still shows Stripe as connected. If access was revoked on the Stripe side, connecting again will pick it back up.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe → Disconnect.
This removes the Stripe revenue already in your analytics, not just the connection. Your Agency Analytics trend reverts to what it showed before Stripe was connected. Reconnecting pulls it back in, but it's a bigger change than disconnecting most integrations, so it's worth being deliberate about.
