Planner is where your day gets shaped — commitments turned into actual blocks of time, rather than a list you hope to get through.
The views
Day is where most of the work happens: your schedule laid out in blocks.
Week gives you the shape of the days ahead, which is where you notice a Thursday with no room in it before Thursday arrives.
Annual is the long view, for the commitments that don't fit in a week.
AI time-blocking
Rather than placing everything by hand, Planner can build the schedule for you. It lays work into a grid of fifteen-minute slots running from six in the morning, so blocks land on sensible boundaries instead of awkward fragments.
Time-blocking is a suggestion, not a commitment. Move things once they're placed — the point is starting from a workable draft rather than an empty grid.
Brain dump
When everything is in your head at once, the brain dump is where it goes. Get it out first, sort it after. It's deliberately unstructured, because structure is what stops people writing things down.
Parking lot
For the things that matter but not today. The parking lot keeps them somewhere retrievable so they aren't either cluttering your day or quietly forgotten.
Reflections
A place to record how the day actually went against how it was planned. Over time that's the honest record of where your hours go, which is usually more surprising than anyone expects.
Day summary
A read of what your day holds, pulled together rather than assembled by you.
Getting the most from it
Plan the day before, not the morning of. A schedule built at 8am competes with the day already starting.
Leave gaps. A fully blocked day breaks on contact with the first thing that runs long.
Use the parking lot properly. Most schedules fail because they're full of work that was never going to happen today, and the parking lot is what keeps that out.
Troubleshooting
Planner isn't in my menu
The tool isn't enabled for your user. Your account owner can switch it on in Settings.
Time-blocking suggested something unhelpful
Move it. The suggestion is a starting point, and adjusting it is expected rather than a sign something's wrong.
My day looks empty
Nothing has been added yet. Start with a brain dump and build from there.
